Eastern Rhinos u12s, u14s and u16s squads returned to action on Saturday in preparation for the upcoming season. New and old faces were welcomed to Northern Gateway and (belated) awards given out to last season's player of the year in the u14s (James Woodcock) and u16s (Harry Evans) age groups.

Special mention to current u16s, Will Randall, Ben Ratcliffe, Dylan Burdorf and Charlie Randall who have all been picked up by the London Broncos scholarship squad and will wear the Rhinos blue and white in between turning out for the Broncos against the likes of Super League giants St Helens, Leeds and Wigan.
